Japan Center of International and Comparative
Environmental Law
"Japan Center of International and Comparative
Environmental Law" as NGO of Environmental Law in Japan,
was established as a research institution
in "Commercial Law Center, Inc."
for studying world's legislation of environment,
including that of Japan.
Professors of environmental law and persons
in charge of environmental section of enterprises
are main members of this think tank. "Commercial
Law Center, Inc." is recognized as a
non-profit organization under the supervision
of the Japanese Ministry of Justice and specializes
"Business Law".
Since 1991, "Japan Center of International
and Comparative Environmental Law" has
been undertaking a research about national
studies concerning "Legislation"
of environmental law. This research was entrusted
by Ministry of the Environment.

Global warming, Environmental management
and so on.

- Support to cross-border activities for the
environment such as the organization
of the

compliance and enforcement of the international
environmental lawh and so on.
- Support of Networking
- Operation of the Secretariat of "Japan
Association for Environmental Law and Policy"iestablished
in 1997j, and support of networking between
environmentally minded academic, researcher,
administrator, businessman and so on.
